My journey with CodeRight began eleven years ago, during a simple conversation with a friend. I had realized I had reached the peak of my possible career trajectory within the medical practice where I worked, but I knew I wanted more. There were greater opportunities out there to find, and more impact to generate with the skills I'd accumulated throughout a 25+ year career in the healthcare administration field. 

That one conversation sparked CodeRight Consulting. It took about a year to get everything set up, streamlined, and ready to go. Soon enough I found myself right back in that same doctor's office where I had worked for so many years. Turned out one of the Doctors I had known for years was looking to branch out on her own & set up her own practice. She became my first client, where I established all the behind-the-scenes systems that keep medical practices functioning quickly, efficiently, and painlessly. Whether it's medical records management, timely billing practices, payment logs, EMRs, et cetera, I ensured the practice was set up for success. With my attention to detail, familiarity with how each individual functions within the practice as a whole, and my grounding in people skills, I found I was adept at establishing systems that were not only efficient, but ultimately people-friendly. After all, even the most efficient system in the world won't stay that way if people don't want to use it!

At CodeRight Consulting, my goal is to ensure every I is dotted & every T is crossed, so that we decrease the number of insurance denials & inaccurate bills, ensuring your insurance & billing systems work efficiently, so your patients remain happy and ultimately, you get paid! I help prevent and remove the logistical headaches that pull your attention away from the reason you got into medicine in the first place: to treat the sick & heal the injured. To be a doctor.

As my own company has continued to grow, I've often encountered the other side of these types of billing & insurance errors: the effect it can have on individual patients.
